There are several ways to volunteer.

Spiel-a-thons

It takes a LOT of help to run our fundraisers at conventions. We’d love to have you join us for 3-4 hours at an upcoming Spiel-a-thon. You’ll even get a free Spieler t-shirt for your trouble! Contact Stephen to volunteer!

Burning Cat  (Portland) – May 16-17

Geekway to the West (St Louis) – June 11-14

GenCon (Indianapolis) – July 30, Aug 1-3

BGG Con Fall (Dallas) – Nov. 18-22

PAX Unplugged (Philadelphia) – Nov. 18-22

NOTE: The GenCon Spiel-a-thon is going to be HUGE. We anticipate attendance in the thousands! We need LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS!!

Host Your Own Spiel-a-thon!

We can’t be at every convention, but we’d love to have a Spiel-a-thon at every one! If you’re interested in running a Spiel-a-thon at a convention (or even in your home!) contact Stephen (stephen@thespielfoundation.com) and we will send you all the info needed to run the event!

Game Bundle – Regional Network

We want to develop a regional network of volunteers as part of our Game Bundle Program.

Each time we send out a bundle, we contact a Spiel Foundation volunteer in the area to let them know. 

This volunteer can make contact with the recipient and, if possible, set up a game session with folks so they can learn and play!
